Finding Balance While Growing ⚖️🌱
Life’s been packed with opportunities lately, and while I’m grateful for the progress, it’s definitely forced me to rethink how I manage my time and energy. One thing that’s taken a hit is my writing frequency — my focus has had to shift elsewhere.
About 5 weeks ago, I started pursuing two certifications. One wraped up a week ago, but the other will keep me busy until March 2025. Both required live classes, plus plenty of study time after my regular workday. It’s been challenging, no doubt, but also incredibly rewarding. It’s reminded me of something important about growth: It doesn’t just happen — you have to put in the time and effort. ⏰💪
We talk a lot about wanting to grow, but we often skip over the hard part — the prioritizing. When you take on more learning or extra responsibilities, something else has to move. That might mean pushing back a project, rearranging personal time, or even doubting yourself as you wonder if you can juggle it all.
What I’ve learned through all this is that growth isn’t about “finding time.” It’s about making time for what really matters. It’s facing that uncomfortable truth that your schedule needs to shift as you push towards new goals. And just as important, it’s understanding that these adjustments are temporary — necessary steps on the path to becoming who you want to be.
If you’re feeling the weight of all your commitments, take a moment to think about what’s driving your choices. Growth takes dedication and prioritization, but it’s worth it for the future you’re building.
